The Mobile Dentists are returning to our Borough schools April 7th, 8th and 9th.
These dentists provide dental screenings, cleaning and fluoride treatments to allstudents who participate in the program. If you are interested inhaving your child see the dentist while they are in school, please look for theapplication coming home with your child and submit it to the school nurse by March18, 2014. Please consider taking advantage of this wonderful program andcontact the school nurse for further information.

These incredible students from Mrs. Johnson's class were accepted to the Career Center at the Monmouth County Vocational School District for their freshman year. Most students are not accepted until sophomore year; however when students show potential they can be accepted early. Congrats outstanding students!
Working on their STEM project, Gifted and Talented students designed and constructed a working roller coaster using their knowledge of physics concepts. Built only with paper towel rolls, boxes, and tape, this extensive project took two weeks, and was a spectacular success. Click on the headline above to see the really cool pictures of them.

Attention 5th and 6th grade girls and moms and female guardians! Are you ready for an exciting event? On Friday, March 14, 2014, from 5:15-8:30 p.m., enjoy a girls’ night in at the Park Avenue/Freehold Intermediate School Complex. This girls’ night will feature speakers, dinner, crafts, activities, goodies, and more, all for you!!! First, moms or female guardians and girls will have dinner together while listening to an excellent presentation. Girls will participate in breakout sessions while moms enjoy some speakers and coffee chat with other moms! You won’t want to miss this event and you will bring home lots of goodies! Your permission slip was due to your School Counselor February 14th. See you there!

On Friday, January 10th, our Lion Leaders were at the Freehold Raceway Mall's SPCA store using their marketing and business skills selling baked goods. They raised over $200 for the Monmouth County SPCA.

National Junior Honor Society's Mark Costanzo spearheaded a collection of food for Open Door. Putting together a homeroom competition to inspire students, FIS raised over 10 boxes of food.
