• School Status Reports
    Currently, New Jersey has waived the requirement under the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA), that prescribes how a state must establish annual measurable objectives (AMOs) for determining adequate yearly progress (AYP) to ensure that all students meet or exceed the State’s proficient level of academic achievement on the State’s assessments in reading/language arts and mathematics no later than the end of the 2013–2014 school year. Essentially, having every student meet 100% proficiency requirements on state tests, and having student proficiency rates impact the status of the school.

    New Jersey is developing new, ambitious – but achievable –AMOs in reading/language arts and mathematics in order to provide meaningful goals that are used to guide and support improvement for schools and student subgroups.

    Below, please find school profile information for each school in the Freehold Borough School District.

    Freehold Borough School Profiles 

    Until the 2012-2013 school year, school status reports indicated if a school made adequate yearly progress (AYP) in both Language Arts and Mathematics. This report also listed the AYP improvement status for previous school years. Adequate yearly progress (AYP) must be calculated for all New Jersey schools under the provisions of NCLB. Schools that did not meet AYP, as defined under NCLB, were placed into a category.
