Title I Action Plans
The New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE), in order to appropriately identify supports needed for schools, is having schools develop Progress Targets Action Plans if they did not meet their 2013 Progress Targets. These plans must articulate how each school will address the needs of the student populations that did not meet these progress targets. Title I resources will be aligned in support of these students. The state’s Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) Flexibility Waiver Request now allows districts to target only those subgroups that did not meet their progress targets and document existing and new strategies to address the needs of these subgroups. This new system requires districts to develop improvement plans specifically for the groups of students that were identified as missing these pre-established targets. Progress Targets Action Plans for schools that had students populations not meet their 2013 Progress Targets are below.Park Avenue Elementary School has now completed an action plan, as per the state of New Jersey. Below please find the completed, Board approved, action plan for this school.
