    • Activity #2- Do a "book walk" as you listen to "Pete the Cat and the Missing Cupcakes". Write down 8 words you hear throughout the story that have your sound in it; beginning, middle or end of the word. Practice each word 10x and use it in a sentence using your best speech sounds!

      • See how many words you can think of using your sound. Make 3 lists: 1 list for words with your sound in the beginning, one list for your sound in the middle, and a third list with your sound at the end of the word. Time yourself for 2 minutes for each list and see which list wins! Make sure you are using your best speech sounds when you make your lists!

     

     

    Week of 3/23- 3/27

      • Please complete another 2 worksheets in your packet

      • Create sentences for the list of 10 objects from last week.
      • Read a chosen book, article, or magazine for 10 minutes using your best speech sounds.

      • Take turns with a family member describing objects around the room and having the other person guess what you are describing. Don't forget to use your sound while describing and guessing objects.

      • Look through a short book or article and find all the words with your sound and say them out loud. Then read the article or book while focusing on production of your sound. Correct any errors that you make!

     

    • Use one of your word lists and play a game while working on your sound. Say your word then say it in a sentence. Practice 3 words before taking your turn in a game!

      • Remember to self-monitor and say your sound nice and clearly. Use a mirror to help!

      • Feel free to play a game while you practice your sounds - make sure to practice 3 words before taking your turn in the game!
