Freehold Learning Center Proposed Renovation

The Freehold Borough School District has allocated $8,112,667 from federal pandemic assistance for the replacement of HVAC rooftop units over the large open classroom area at Freehold Learning Center and the construction of enclosed classroom spaces.  The first part of the proposed project is to replace the HVAC units and duct work in the area to accomodate enclosed classrooms.  After that construction of walls to enclose rooms can take place.  These plans are still preliminary.  Many aspects of the project will need to be reviewed and approved by the New Jersey Department of Education Office of School Facilities and by the federal government for funding approval before final designs can take place.  As more information is obtained it will be posted here.

Below you will find the current layout of the large open classroom area at FLC along with the proposed layout with the addition of walls.
