Athletics:Participating in school sports is a great way to get involved in school. It enhances your level of fitness, helps you learn to work with others, and is a great way to make friends! We encourage all of our students to participate in our sports program and become part of the team!Our Freehold Intermediate Student-Athletes compete in a number of sports throughout the year. The sports program is split up into 3 seasons: Fall, Winter, and Spring.Fall Sports: Boys Soccer, Girls Soccer, and Girls Field HockeyThe season starts in early September and runs through late October/early November.Winter Sports: Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, and Boys & Girls WrestlingThe season starts in November and runs through late January/early February.Spring Sports: Boys Track, Girls Track, Boys Baseball, and Girls SoftballThe season begins in March and runs through May.All our HOME track meets are held at the Freehold High School track on Robertsville Rd.To be eligible to participate in any sport program, each student athlete must submit a sports physical packet to the nurse by the deadline posted for that sport. Sports packets include: Physical Form: completed by a physician, Health History Questionnaire: completed by the parent, and Consent/Permission: form signed by the parent.
