      • FCC Affordable Connectivity Program

        FCC Emergency Broadband Benefit

        The Affordable Connectivity Program is an FCC benefit program that helps ensure that households can afford the broadband they need for work, school, healthcare and more. The benefit provides a discount of up to $30 per month toward internet service for eligible households. Eligible households can also receive a one-time discount of up to $100 to purchase a laptop, desktop computer, or tablet from participating providers if they contribute more than $10 and less than $50 toward the purchase price.

        Who can get a library card? Anyone that lives, works or attends school in the BOROUGH of Freehold may have a free card at this library.

        What do I need to do to get a library card? Bring in something that shows your current address in Freehold BOROUGH. Something like a drivers license or utility bill works great. Children 8th grade and younger need parent/guardian's signature.

        Monmouth County Special Needs Registry

        The Monmouth County Special Needs Registry is a voluntary service open to all citizens with disabilities who reside, attend school or are employed in Monmouth County.  The registry was created to help police officers and other emergency service personnel to better assist residents with special needs in the event of an emergency by providing those first responders with vital information regarding a registrant’s disability, emergency contact information, a physical description and current photograph of the registrant.

        El Registro de Necesidades Especiales del Condado de Monmouth es un servicio voluntario abierto a todos los ciudadanos con discapacidades que residen, asisten a la escuela o trabajan en el condado de Monmouth.
