Jennifer O'Shea, Director of Special Programs
Jennifer O’Shea took over duties as Director of Special Programs in Freehold Borough Public Schools on August 1, 2013. Previously she served as Director of Basic Skills and Testing/School Psychologist in the SeaGirt Schools for three years, and was the School Psychologist for the Point Pleasant Borough Schools for over ten years. In her current role, she is responsible for overseeing the implementation of all special education programs and services provided within the district. She also serves as the Affirmative Action Officer for the district. Her education includes a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Virginia 1994; an M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Georgian Court University 2000; and an M.A in Educational Leadership from Thomas Edison State University 2010. She holds NJ state certification as a School Psychologist as well as Supervisor and Principal certifications. Mrs. O’Shea resides in Spring Lake Heights with her husband John and three children Abigail (10), Jack (9), and Ellison(7).
