Heather Elkin has been an educator for 13 years. She began her career as a Spanish Teacher and then went on to become a School Counselor/Student Assistance Coordinator at Freehold Intermediate School. In this position, she has also held the roles of Anti-Bullying Specialist, School Testing Coordinator, 504 and RTI Coordinator. She has served on multiple committees, both in and out of school as well. After 11 years as a School Counselor/SAC, she was appointed as the Vice Principal of Freehold Intermediate School. She also serves as an adjunct professor at Monmouth University. Heather truly loves being a member of the wonderful community of Freehold and working with staff, students, and families.
